Trial aircraft for RFDS Western Section
Currently being utilised by the RFDS Western Section is this Piaggio Avanti II P180 Turboprop. This aircraft is being evaluated for a period of 6 weeks and although based at Jandakot Airport it is being used extensively throughout Regional W.A. It also provides additional capacity to the RFDS whilst their jet, VH-RIO, is undergoing maintenance. The aircraft has been configured for Medivac operations as part of the trial.
